Acrylic nails in Kfarchima
A full set of acrylic nails at L'ICÔNE is $60, and a refill is $40. How acrylic compares to gel, and how to keep a set looking new.
What acrylic is
Acrylic is a liquid and a powder mixed into a small bead, then sculpted onto your nail or a tip. It sets hard in minutes. It's the strongest extension we offer, which is why it's the usual choice for long nails and sharp shapes like stiletto.

Acrylic or gel?
Both give you length. The difference is how they feel and what shapes they hold best.
- Acrylic ($60 full set, $40 refill) is harder. Pick it for long, almond or stiletto shapes, or if your nails take a beating.
- Gel ($50 full set, $30 refill) is lighter and a little flexible, with a natural shine. It suits short to medium lengths. More on our gel nails page.
Not sure? Send us a photo of the look you want and we'll tell you which one will hold it.
Refills
As your nail grows, the acrylic moves forward and a gap shows at the cuticle. A refill fills it in and rebalances the nail. Book one every two to three weeks. If you wait too long the tip gets heavy and is more likely to lift or crack.
Finishes and nail art
Any color, a French tip, chrome powder (+$5) or hand-painted designs (+$1–3). Our recent sets are on Instagram.
Looking after acrylic
- Use the pads of your fingers, not the nail tips, for buttons and screens.
- Wear gloves for cleaning. Strong chemicals can dull and weaken acrylic.
- Use cuticle oil daily so the skin around the nail stays soft.
- If a nail lifts or breaks, don't glue it at home. Message us and we'll fix it.
Acrylic nail questions
How much are acrylic nails in Kfarchima?
At L'ICÔNE a full set of acrylic nails is $60 and an acrylic refill is $40. Chrome is $5 extra and designs are $1 to $3 extra.
How often do acrylic nails need a refill?
Every two to three weeks for most people. Leave it much longer and the nail gets heavy at the tip, which makes it more likely to lift or break.
Gel or acrylic: which lasts longer?
Acrylic is the harder of the two, so it's the better pick for long and stiletto shapes or if you're tough on your hands. Gel is lighter and more flexible, and suits short to medium lengths.
